Please adhere to the following rules when posting messages on this board :
- The official forum language is English.
- The user is asked to please keep a polite tone and to avoid any profanity. Posts may, in part, or wholly, be edited if a moderator finds the contents to be inappropriate.
- Please take care to post in the appropriate folder. If you are unsure of where to post, first locate the section for the game in question, then go to the relevant subsection. Other material non-related to the games can be posted in the "Off Topic" folder. The moderators will move the topics to a different folder, if they feel the topic was mis-posted.
- Advertising not cleared by the board owner, ALTAR games, will not be tolerated, and the post deleted. Users not heeding this will have their posting privilieges revoked.
- When discussing different viewpoints with other board users, please avoid personal attacks, and keep a polite tone. This ensures enjoyable reading, and a quality board for us all.
- Insults and other slanderous remarks will not be tolerated. Posts with inappropriate remarks will be edited or deleted without notice, and repeat offenders may have their posting privilieges revoked.
- Avoid the topics, even in the Off-topic section, which habitually produce flamewars. These include, but are not limited to: religion, abortions and Middle-East politics.
- Discussing piracy as a general subject is fine. Specific cracks, links to illegal software and encouragement to breaking the law is not. Doing so may lead to a ban of the user's account.
- Please try to never post when angry or emotional. Doing so tends to lead to writing posts you will later regret to having made, and will more often than not give the impression of you as an aggressive and abusive poster. If something fires you up, please take the time to calm yourself down before you reply, as the feedback you provide then will be much more constructive for everyone involved.
- Forum Netiquette rules are required to be observed by all participants on the ALTAR forums. If you have a question about what is or is not acceptable behavior, what is on-topic or off-topic, or which forum is the proper location for your post, please send a Private Message (PM) to one of the forum moderators/administrators before posting.
