Okay, i'm still trying to research the HOLY GRAIL of Med. Armor...
I've successfully researched "Basic Human Weapons" which seems to be the only prereq.... but it doesn't pop up as an option... furthermore, can someone PLEASE tell me what the OTHER option even is... I'm tryin' to love this game, but it's KILLING ME... sheesh, i feel like Lewis Black s |

medium armor research requires an advanced weapons lab to invent, and it in turn requires advanced human weapons (lasers and stuff, get them from cultists)

Researching it is obviously a good idea, but another way to get it is through recruiting humans. Look at the type of collar shown in the picture and it tells you what type of armour they have (there's a section on this in my guide).

You don't need to research it to wear it, but you do need it researched to get access to heavy armour, and other armour/shields.
Recruiting simply allows you to get armour without having to manufacture it, and can be bought before you have researched it -------------------- The pen is mightier than the sword, if it is sharpened to a fine point, dipped in deadly poison and thrown from 10 feet away. But really, you're better off with a sword.
