This mod removes the default trainings of Ute Heinemann and Harald Zamyatin.

Shadowarrior, would it be posible to do a MOD that randomise Characters stats ?
I.E : so they donīt come with the same stats each time we begin a game ? The classes can remain the same
Another idea would be appearance randomization, they donīt appear in the same order troughout the game.

Short answer: no.

Character stats are preset in the character.txt file (the same file I altered for this mod). As such, whatever values are written in the file is what the game uses at startup. It'd require a major rewrite of the game by ALTAR to do what you ask. Ditto for randomizing appearance.

AS had randomly-generated characters. AL, by design, has pregenerated ones. Superficially, AL resembles AS, but under the hood there are major differences throughout the data files and in the game's engine.

Could you expand this mod into a REAL 'Clean Slate', removing training from the Sci/Tech people too?

Cause I want to train my S/T as vehicle drivers right of the bat!

Thanks!

Per your request: Afterlight No Trainings mod

I don't think using the no-trainings-for-everyone mod is a good idea, but different people have different ideas on how to play the game.

I wouldn't mind retraining some of the soldiers, but then they have loads of time just sitting around with nothing better to do. Scientists and technicians on the other hand are best when they are working, so putting them into training is costly, especially when a lot of the stuff they are trained in is something you will want to train someone in later on.

Does this mean; the Clean Slate Mod is not needed IF you Installed the NO Trainings Mod? Clean Slate = only affects the 1st two and the rest are untouched. NO Trainings Affects ALL the Star Characters and the randomized ones?
