Hi, its my first post here, but I am a fon of X-COM series, and of Aftershock. So is there any mod to reduce the number of assaults on my territory or at least increase defense efficency? Thanks.

Not that I know of. Yet.
I bet (if it is possible) that SW might do it, if he's not busy doing something else -------------------- |

Try this Link It reduces the agressivenes of the AI factions slightly, it will help however im not sure how strong the effect will be. Well, you've reduced the aggressiveness value by about 33% for each of the 3 attacking factions, so they should only be attacking about 2/3 as often. -------------------- |

Yes but we dont know 2/3 of what exactly i would calculate that like for example: A value of 3 = 3 potential attacks per month however thats just a speculation, it needs some testing. That may also be per week or even per day. -------------------- |

Thanks a lot! np, i would apreciate some feedback how it affected your game, as i can change the values if nessecary. So is the ammount of attacks now better handable or is it still too much ? -------------------- |

I have tested it on several values.
3 - original, way too much for me 2 - your mod value, still abit over the top 1.5 - reasonable, maybe a little low 1 - still can be annoying, but gives some long intervals of building without interuption. I would settle for 1.5 - 2.0 range personally. It all depends on play style and what you want out of the game. Cheers and I hope my feedback helps some. Nevyn |
