Tornado Mod v1.1
This mod alters the behaviour of tornadoes a.k.a the Nature forces making them equally hostile against all factions (including Beastmen). Download Files affected: game/scripts/tactical/load_squad_functions.lua Changes in this version: - In the earlier version, Beastmen were hostile against Nature forces as intended, but Nature forces themselves just ignored Beastmen like in unmodded game. This is fixed now. EDIT: I just found out that there actually is an in-game explanation to the peculiar behavior of the nature forces and thus, using this mod can be considered as a form of cheating. -------------------- |

Recommended if it works. I'll try it first chance I get... only it might take some time to see if it actually does

As you can see, it should work perfectly now Nice beastie-magnet. Now all you need is a ranged explosives-thrower to clean up the mess. -------------------- |

Funny, last time I tried to kill one it just simply vanished when it ran out of hitpoints.

Console commands are hard-coded into the game. They cannot be modded. Such cheats are intended as a tool for the developers to test their own game.

hmm? well even though it's hard codded it's possible to add a trigger for them? like have this action trigger the game to write a command in the console?
i think thats possible... might cause a little more memory usage though... but i still can't figure out how to use the hit and fall commands. they are obviously used at EVERY single attack. but i just can't see their format. ok i'm messing with things far beyond myself... -------------------- |

ok i'm messing with things far beyond myself... Yes, you are. When someone says that something is hard-coded, that's pretty much the end of that discussion, since it's out of the hands of players. Also, please confine your replies to the topic (which in this case is the Tornado Mod). If you wish to continue discussions about something not relevant to the topic you're posting in (such as console commands), either do so in PM or in a new topic. I've already warned you about this privately. Now I'm doing so publicly. I strongly suggest that you take the hint. -------------------- |

why not setting all races to be non-hostile to nature-forces - and leaving nature-forces hostile to anything
it would be like a real tornado - better to avoid it or do you shoot at a real tornado in your free time too ? -------------------- my game crashed - reading this forum didn't help - can't even delete this account !
