After a mission is over, there is a screen with 3 areas. The left side shows the UFO and its cargo? If I click to "get all", the stuff from the mission goes there.
On the right side there are two columns for collected items. One column for "unique", and one for "common" items. I guess I really don't understand how this all works. |

Sometimes you will encounter new enemy and bringing him/her back for autopsy will help you to research new weapons, same with artifacts..

Question #1 - Do I just click "get all", or is there a point to putting stuff in the "common" or "unique" columns?
Question #2 - Are the "common" and "unique" columns just sub-areas of the main UFO hold? Question #3 - I was told not to bring duplicate bodies back. How do I get rid of them once on board? |

Question #1 - Do I just click "get all", or is there a point to putting stuff in the "common" or "unique" columns? Question #2 - Are the "common" and "unique" columns just sub-areas of the main UFO hold? "Common" and "Unique" columns both represent the items your soldiers found from the battlefield after the mission. Items that you already have in your base's stock go into the "Common" column where as items that are unique in some way go into the "Unique" column. Clicking the "Get all" button puts all found items into your ship's hold. QUOTE Question #3 - I was told not to bring duplicate bodies back. How do I get rid of them once on board? You can leave out items in the "After mission" screen by dragging them back to either "Common" or "Unique" column. However, once your ship has taken off, it's no longer possible to discard items in its hold. -------------------- |

Thank you. So "common" and "unique" items are not in my hold yet. I still have to drag them from one of the 2 columns (common or unique) before I take off in order to get them on board my ship. Sound right?

Thank you. So "common" and "unique" items are not in my hold yet. Yes. QUOTE I still have to drag them from one of the 2 columns (common or unique) before I take off in order to get them on board my ship. Sound right? Yes, but it's often easier to click "Get all" and then just remove the items from the hold you don't want to bring back to your base. Edit: Remember that you can also move items in and out of the ship's hold by double-clicking them. -------------------- |

Try right clic : it works and it's faster than drag'n'drop to take what you want.
After killing 25 reticulans for the third time, you'll be happy to R-click to select only ammo among the mess |
