No other bug what-so-ever except this one

Whenever a team member crouches, deploying mins or just crouching, his or her torso disappers and the screen just freeze for 15-30 seconds
Does this happened to anyone else?

???? Well, these strange ray of white light didn't last more than few game second

VOILA. Diego's torso disappers. Game freeze for about ten second.

After ordering Diego to move forward, I resume the game.......
Diego disapper completely and the game freeze again.

Everything return to normal after he is walking upright

Crouching disapperance does not occur for the first few minutes of the game.
Not only the crouching order will trigger this bug.
When ever a character crouch to deploy mine or bomb, his or her torso disappers.
Disappering enemy torso has also been observed.

Am I the only one suffering from this bug?

By the way, how do you take screen shot in the game?

For AM and AS, that's Ctrl+Alt+P (jpeg). It may works with AL.

I have it all the time. Your description is not right (or the bug not strictly the same), because crouching never triggers this bug: it is trying to get up after crouching that does, whatever order is given that implies to stand up. It is not systematic, but often enough to be very annoying. Once it starts, I get it more and more until I close the game and restart it. On my computer, however, once the bug happen, I have to reload, as all that my computer do is freezing for 20 seconds before responding to some clicks, and freezing again, and again. Maybe I would get to make it work again if I waited half an hour but it's quicker to save often and reload.
I have a particular savegame where the bug happen nearly every time when simply selecting and the entire squad and ordering it to get up, but I don't know if it is really useful to upload it.
I have some other bugs, though : alt-tab does not work (I don't care if you call it a feature, it's plain bug to me, because it's quite trivial to code); equipped squad equipment sometimes disappears from people inventory, often when you customize a weapon, but not only; major pain, the camera that tends to do what it wants to, and not what I need it to do; and the fact that the level display nearly always shifts when you select a character, even if it is not needed; and that it prevents you from seeing enemy units. Ho, and the French translation that is not even complete, with higher level beastmen units that don't have a name tag. I'm lucky to speak English... I don't even talk about the ones installing mods enabled me to fix (or at least render bearable).
IMO, it's quite a shame to have such big bugs on a over-patched game released several years ago. From the date of the latest patch, I can see the developers care about having things fixed, but they clearly lack organisation skills or something. Please, learn ! Its current state would be acceptable if the game had been released last week, but not three years ago... Why do I have to like the UFO series so much ? Each time, these games are so bugged I cannot even finish them. I hope I will be available to finish at least that one !

I never had those bugs, when I played with my old GeForce. Maybe some last graphic driver is no longer good for the game.

The two last patches (1.6&1.7) were made for free by 3 dev fans (and some translators fans too).

I didn't have any graphic problem either, other than the one with crouching; these don't look like a graphic driver problems, anyway. More like a missing torso animation or something.

Shame all the more on the people that ordered the support to stop: these game are still on sale. Unless big policy changes, these are the last altar game I will ever buy.

The animations are definitly there, unless you have a corrupted installation...

And don't blame ALTAR for the discontinuation of patching, that was the publisher's choice (Cenega).
